Antonio Conte has named four teenagers in
his Chelsea squad for the tour to China and Singapore along with
forgotten striker Loic Remy.
As
expected there were some big-name omissions with Diego Costa, Nemanja
Matic and Kurt Zouma all absent with a view to completing moves away
from the club.
Eden Hazard and new
£40million midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko have stayed in London to work on
fitness, and £31m centre-half Antonio Rudiger has yet to report for
pre-season training after extended international duty with Germany in
the Confederations Cup, but will join up with the team separately.

Batshuayi, N'Golo Kante, David Luiz, Willy Caballero, Marcin Bulka,
Thibaut Courtois, Kenedy, Pedro, Cesc Fabregas, Willian, Loic Remy,
Marcos Alonso, Andreas Christensen, Victor Moses, Lewis Baker, Mario
Pasalic, Charly Musonda, Fiyako Tomori, Jeremie Boga
Defender Marcos Alonso shared a selfie from his plane seat next to Cesc Fabregas as Chelsea fly out to China
Fabregas shared a snap of him in his pajamas - with he and Alonso wearing the same design of grey top and black bottoms
Others
returning to the fray after loan moves and hoping to emulate Victor
Moses, who broke into the first-team last season, include Andreas
Christensen who spent two years at Borussia Monchengladbach, Lewis
Baker, Tomas Kalas, Mario Pasalic and Charly Musonda.
The
four teenagers include England's Under-20 World Cup winners Jake
Clarke-Salter and Fikayo Tomori, as well as Marcin Bulka and Kyle Scott.
Centre
back Clarke-Salter, who formerly captained Chelsea's very successful
youth team, spent last season on loan at Bristol Rovers and had been
expected to leave again, but will now get a chance to impress Conte.
Full
back Tomori played an important part in helping Brighton and Hove
Albion earn Premier League promotion last season, and he too will join
up with the first team in the Far East.
Bulka,
the youngest squad member at 17, will serve as fourth choice goalkeeper
behind Thibaut Courtois, Willy Caballero and Eduardo, while 19-year-old
central midfielder Scott also steps up.
The Spanish left back then shared a snap of him and compatriot Fabregas as they looked to get some sleep on the flight
The team landed safely in China on Wednesday morning, reserve goalkeeper Eduardo sharing this image after their arrival
With a shortage of options up front, it means another opportunity for 30-year-old striker Loic Remy in Chelsea's tour of Asia
